Lessons
We can re-string your instrument for you, or do a major repair. Our violin repairs are performed by Lyle Reedy, and Bob Hamilton is available for band instrument work.
Our Services
We provide private lessons for electric, classical & acoustic guitar, electric & acoustic bass, old time & bluegrass banjo, old time & bluegrass fiddle, beginning violin, mandolin, piano, voice, and drums.
In addition to Mary (fiddle) & Lo Gordon (clawhammer banjo) and Tim Gardner (bluegrass fiddle, mandolin, bluegrass guitar, stand-up bass), our teaching staff includes Gerry Bajek (electric, acoustic & classical guitar), Greg Trollinger (bluegrass banjo), Sharon Davis (piano & voice), Rita Bright (piano), and Mike Ashworth (drums).
Lessons generally run $18-20(1/2 hour) or $30-35 (hour).

Weekly Old Time Jams
We play old time mountain music every Tuesday night from 6:30-9. Stop by to listen or join in. It's free, and all levels are welcome.
We provide rental violins, banjos, guitars and mandolins for schools and individuals. If you're not sure a particular instrument is going to be right for you, consider our rent-to-own program as great way to try before you buy. Band instrument rentals are provided through Bob Hamilton.
Cost varies from $20-40 per month, with 75% of your rental amount applied to the purchase price.

Sound System Rentals
Small to medium size sound systems are available for your special event. Prices vary according to how much equipment is needed, so just give us a call and we'll help you determine how much power you need, and how many microphones, speakers, etc.
Consignment
Have an old stringed intstrument you'd like to sell? We'll help you determine the value, get it ready to sell, and hang it on our wall.

Music for your Special Occasion
Be it a wedding, bar-b-que, party, or reunion, we can provide appropriate music to create just the right atmosphere. Our stable of accomplished musicians includes soloists, duos or bands. Of course, traditional & bluegrass is our speciality, but we also have classical & rock musicians that we can call upon.
